sorry, i don't think there's an easy way to change the order in which posts appear
if you don't want to use the history facility on your main browser, then perhaps you could install a second browser specially for viewing message boards and forums where you're looking for follow-ups and new posts?
(with Windows, i'd recommend using Firefox for the browser using the history facility, cos Internet Explorer is more likely to lose its history if closed down unexpectedly)
