am enjoying reading the reminiscences,
but don't forget that this is a public forum,
which means stuff posted here may end up being permanently archived on the web
(eg by the Wayback Machine)
also that children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (*) of people referred to may be reading this,
and it could be embarrassing for them, especially (as has happened a couple of times) if people are wrongly identified
and also that this message board is likely to be read by the authorities --
at least one serious crime relating to someone who lived in GR is still under investigation (as of Oct 2007)
