it's possible to get biodegradeable cups and "super rigid biodegradable microwaveable plates" made from corn starch or plant fibre or 100% recycled material -- would these be acceptable? tho i guess for it to make sense we need access to a composter afterwards for their disposal

i've got at least 40 clean rigid octagonal plastic containers (15cms diameter, 7cms deep + optional lids) which have only ever contained vegan food (Swedish Glace, vanila flavour to be precise) -- not much use for mixed buffets, but they'd be ok for hot or cold slushy stuff (soup, stew, fruit cocktails etc)
also i've more than 100 fairly clean plastic beakers (ex-ASDA smart-price curry flavour spicy noodle snack containers), though the marketing blurb, ingredients. cooking instructions etc printed on the sides might be a little downmarket for those more used to sipping their Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac from hand cut crystal wine glasses -- maybe i'll seek Brian's advice on this...
